Intensive workshop at Fontys

On 10 and 11 November, Jelena will work with third-year students of the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg as part of their ‘intensive’ weeks. These weeks serve to familiarize students with the work of different choreographers, approaches to dance and ways of working.

Together with dancer Blazej Jasinski, Jelena will explore what it means to work with obstacles, an approach that is characteristic for Jelena’s work. In this workshop, the obstacles will be embodied by the fellow students. Working in groups of three and four, the students will work on reading intentions and dealing with others.
