Blind Spot – Eindhoven during the Urban Dance Days

After Blind Spot – Tilburg (2021), Blind Spot – Maastricht (2022) and Blind Spot – Rotterdam (2023), Jelena Kostić will create a brand new edition of Blind Spot especially for festival de Urban Dansdagen (Urban Dance Days).

Blind Spot is one of choreographer Jelena Kostić’s most successful concepts. Using headphones, visitors go for a walk along various striking (and unremarkable!) buildings and places in the city. With the addition of dance, visitors are invited to experience these places in new and different ways.

After successful performances in Tilburg, Maastricht and Rotterdam, choreographer Jelena Kostić is creating a new Blind Spot for Eindhoven. The performance is site-responsive, which means that Blind Spot is different in every city. Moreover, the dance language is strongly inspired by freerunning. The project thus fits perfectly within festival Urban Dansdagen, which lets audiences dive into the heart of urban dance culture. From hip-hop to experimental, from battles to inspiring talks.
